Omura Park / Kushima Castle Ruins
大村公園(玖島城跡)
A park centred on the remains of Kushima Castle. The September 2008 photograph shows the Sakurada moat area, not spring cherry blossoms or early-summer irises. Respect shrine worship and current restrictions, and take care around steps and moat edges.

A former temple garden designated a national Place of Scenic Beauty for its early-Edo stone-garden style. The March 2013 photograph shows blossom trees and green space in the garden area. The city lists no parking at the site. Use permitted parking nearby and protect the steps and garden features.

Omura-zushi is a local pressed sushi cut into squares. Accounts of its origin are local traditions. Eggs, fish and seasonings vary by shop, so check the current menu and allergen ingredients.
Resized, metadata removed and converted to WebP; display crops vary by screen. Adapted CC BY-SA photos retain the original license.
