Hi, I’m Tabi!

Discover a small rural station and a hilltop park in Yasuoka. The paths around Tamoto Station are not an easy flat walk; check trains and your return route first.

This guide covers places within Yasuoka, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Two places to begin

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

A first-visit stop

Tamoto Station

田本駅

A small Iida Line station along the Tenryu River gorge, shown in 2017. Check train services and the steep approach path. Stay off the tracks and away from cliff edges.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02

A first-visit stop

Ai Park Yasuoka

あいパークやすおか

A park for views and outdoor activities. Facilities have different seasons and rules; check current availability. Arrange separate transport rather than assuming it is a short walk from the station.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Yubeshi is a traditional preserved food made with yuzu, miso, sesame and walnuts. Kakimaki wraps yubeshi in dried persimmon; check ingredients and availability with the seller.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
