Hi, I’m Tabi!

Minowa is a town in Nagano. Explore Momiji Lake or Akasoba-no-sato’s red-flowering buckwheat fields. Photographs show the dam in 2006 and fields in 2012. The organizer lists the 2026 field-opening event through October 11. Check current guidance rather than assuming the same flowers or access remain available.

This guide covers places within Minowa, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Akasoba-no-sato’s organizer describes buckwheat with red flowers. Flower color does not imply that prepared noodles are also red. Separately check actual restaurant menus, flour origins and blends, buckwheat allergens and current availability.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
