Hi, I’m Tabi!

Kiho in southern Mie meets the Kumano River and Kumano-nada coast. The turtle park is by Route42; the waterfall is in Asari. Check Ida Maiko bus-stop connections and separate transport to the falls, including returns. They are separate outings.

This guide covers places within Kiho, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Mie Nanki mikan are satsuma mandarins grown in Kumano, Mihama and Kiho. Check origin, variety and seasonal availability; do not assume every mandarin is grown in Kiho.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the turtle park’s pedestrian entrance → public exhibits. Keep clear of parking traffic and arrange a separate trip to the waterfall.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
