Hi, I’m Tabi!

Tamaki in Mie offers castle remains and tearoom heritage. Use JR Sangu Line Tamaru Station as a starting point, checking approaches and return trains. Distinguish it from similarly named places and check the castle slopes and interior entry separately.

This guide covers places within Tamaki, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try Tamaru Station → the public entrance to the ruins, allowing for stairs and slopes. Choose Genkosha separately according to its entry and closure arrangements.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
