Hi, I’m Tabi!
Suzuka in Mie offers a monumental tree, shrines and traditional crafts. Choose the industry hall area or Nago for a first visit, planning transport separately for the shrine.
This guide covers places within Suzuka, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Nago Large Camphor Tree
長太の大楠
A large camphor tree amid fields, designated a Mie prefectural natural monument. The photo dates from 2018. Respect agricultural access and avoid damaging the tree or surrounding land.
Getting there Check the marked approach in Minaminagocho
A shrine in Yamamotocho with wooded worship spaces. This historical image was uploaded in 2006; its capture date is unknown. Confirm the destination rather than confusing it with Towaki Nakato Shrine elsewhere in Suzuka.
Getting there Plan separate transport to the shrine at Yamamotocho 1871
Discover tools and works associated with Suzuka ink and Ise katagami paper stencils. Check current exhibitions and opening arrangements for an indoor introduction to local crafts.
Getting there Approach the Terake area from Kintetsu Tsuzumigaura station
The official tourism guide features kabuse tea and foods using Suzuka matcha. Check origins, ingredients and availability rather than assuming every matcha product is locally made.
Try Tsuzumigaura station → the Traditional Industry Hall area after checking opening information. Save Nago’s tree and Tsubaki Grand Shrine for separately planned journeys.
