Hi, I’m Tabi!

Kyotango covers Japan Sea coastal communities in northern Kyoto Prefecture. Begin around Kotohikihama and its museum, planning separate transport to Tateiwa.

This guide covers places within Kyōtango, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Three places to begin

Three places with different atmospheres. Start with the one that appeals to you instead of visiting them all.

03

A first-visit stop

Kotohikihama Beach

琴引浜

A beach known for sound produced by walking on dry sand. Results depend on sand conditions. Follow local conservation rules and take litter away.

Getting there
Check buses toward Kotohikihama from Amino station

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Taiza kani refers to snow crab landed at Taiza port. Check winter fishing and availability rather than assuming all crab is Taiza crab.
