Hi, I’m Tabi!
In southern Kyoto Prefecture, Kyotanabe offers Ikkyu’s temple and tea-growing scenery. It is distinct from Kyotango. Begin with Ikkyuji and plan separate transport for other areas.
This guide covers places within Kyōtanabe, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Gyokuro is a local specialty made from shade-grown tea leaves. The station-area Gyokuroan offers tea-brewing experiences; check current arrangements and ingredients. The tourism association announced rental-cycle suspension on October 10, 2026, so do not rely on older rental guidance.
