Ikeyama Spring
池山水源
Large trees surround this spring, selected among Japan’s notable waters. It supplies drinking water, so do not put hands, feet or camera equipment into it. The photograph dates from 2014. Use designated parking and paths and watch for slippery footing.

Reach this quiet spring on a woodland path from the car park. Keep hands, feet and camera equipment out of the water here too. Official guidance says the car-park toilets close from December through late March to prevent freezing; check before a winter visit.

The village introduces spring-water tofu, local rice and Akaushi beef. Check origin labels, ingredients and current availability. A hometown-tax gift listing does not establish a restaurant’s menu or booking availability.
