Hi, I’m Tabi!
This is Takamori in Kumamoto’s Aso area, distinct from the town in Nagano. Choose the park waterscape or wooded shrine approach first. They are separate destinations: check current roads, local transport and return services for each.
This guide covers places within Takamori, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

The town’s official guidance features dengaku: ingredients coated with miso and grilled over charcoal. Ingredients and sauces vary by seller; check actual fish, meat, soy, sesame and other ingredients and the current menu.
Resized, metadata removed and converted to WebP; display crops vary by screen. Adapted CC BY-SA photos retain the original license.
