Hi, I’m Tabi!

Explore Ushibuka’s harbor bridge and the living religious heritage of Sakitsu fishing village in Amakusa. These are not a short walking circuit, so arrange transport separately. The church is a place of worship; follow booking and photography requirements.

This guide covers places within Amakusa, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

A first-visit stop

Sakitsu Church and Village

﨑津教会と集落

Discover a history of faith within a working fishing village. Church visits require advance booking and may be restricted by religious events. Interior photography is prohibited, and photography on the grounds or product use has separate permission requirements. Respect residents and worship.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

The restaurant at Ushibuka Kaisaikan features fish sourced from the local market. Menus can change with landings, while barbecue has separate booking conditions. Distinguish raw and cooked dishes and ask about ingredients and availability.
