Hi, I’m Tabi!
In Kochi’s Yasuda, visit a mountain pilgrimage temple and a community museum in restored buildings. Konomineji in Tonohama and Nagomi in the town center are separate stops. Allow time for mountain access as well as a town walk.
This guide covers places within Yasuda, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Konomineji Temple
神峯寺
Temple 27 on the Shikoku 88-temple pilgrimage, with stone steps and gardens on the mountainside. The photograph shows its gate in 2011. Plan for slopes, steps and mountain access rather than an easy level stroll from Tonohama Station.

Restored from the former Kashiwabara residence and Ichikawa clinic, this facility introduces local history and people through two contrasting buildings. Check the official site for current exhibitions and opening days.

The town’s product list includes jinenjo yam, frozen grated yam, ayu sushi and frozen sweetfish. Choose between yam and fish preparations, checking whether products are fresh or frozen and when dishes are available.
