Town guidance lists viewing on Saturdays and Sundays from April through November, with winter closure from December to March. Do not assume weekday indoor access; confirm current opening and road conditions.

Nishimonai soba is a local food tradition, including hiyagake noodles served with cold broth. The tourism association’s guide shows differences in noodles, broth and ingredients between shops. Check opening days and availability, and ask about ingredients before ordering if you have a buckwheat allergy.
