Hi, I’m Tabi!
Begin in Mitane with its broad Sea of Japan beach and a cultural venue in Moritake. The coastal and inland stops require separate transport planning. Photographs from August 2025 and May 2017 do not establish current bathing operations or events.
This guide covers places within Mitane, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Kamayahama Beach
釜谷浜
This broad sandy shore looks onto the Sea of Japan. The August 2025 photograph shows a summer scene, not October bathing operations. Check waves, strong winds and local restrictions, and plan to enjoy the shore without entering the sea.

The cultural venue stands in the Sozaburonuma Park area; the photograph records its exterior in May 2017. Treat it as a building and surrounding landscape stop, rather than assuming a permanent tourist exhibition. Check hall events, indoor access and closures including Mondays and the New Year period.

Junsai, or water shield, is a Mitane specialty known for its slippery texture. Fresh produce is generally in season from May to August, with processed products also available outside that period. Do not assume fresh junsai or harvesting experiences are offered in October; check with individual sellers and restaurants.
