The photograph shows the site in September 2018. The city’s planned October 2026 outdoor hours are 9:00–16:30, subject to weather and safety changes. Do not step on or move stones; follow designated routes and local restrictions, including wildlife-related closures.

At Michi-no-Eki Kazuno, this hall displays floats used in the actual festival. An indoor visit differs from the street festival in August, and live demonstrations are not daily. Check admission, opening days and demonstration schedules separately.

Look for kiritanpo, Akita’s rice specialty. Michi-no-Eki Kazuno Antler also lists a kiritanpo facility. Check current grilled or hot-pot offerings and hands-on activities, without treating the dish as exclusive to Kazuno.
