Hi, I’m Tabi!

Fujisawa includes Enoshima, the Shonan coast and an old temple town. Choose one part of the island or the Yugyo-ji area rather than linking everything in one walk.

This guide covers places within Fujisawa, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Three places to begin

Three places with different atmospheres. Start with the one that appeals to you instead of visiting them all.

A first-visit stop

Enoshima Shrine

江島神社

A collective shrine of several worship areas on Enoshima. Start with Zuishinmon and one nearby section; the island has hills and steps rather than an entirely flat route.

Getting there
Check island approaches from Katase-Enoshima, Enoshima or Shonan-Enoshima station

Enoshima Sea Candle observation tower02

A first-visit stop

Enoshima Sea Candle

江の島シーキャンドル

An observation tower within the Samuel Cocking Garden. Views depend on weather; check separate garden, tower and event entry conditions.

Getting there
Check the hillside route and facility entrance

03

A first-visit stop

Yugyo-ji Temple

遊行寺

Also called Shojoko-ji, this temple connects with Fujisawa’s temple-town and post-town history. It is an inland outing separate from the island.

Getting there
Check the approach and buses from the Fujisawa station area

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Shirasu-don tops rice with whitebait and is featured as an Enoshima specialty. Raw and boiled whitebait are different choices; catches and season affect availability.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the island entrance → Nakamise street → Zuishinmon. Continue uphill toward the tower only after checking slopes, entry conditions and your return route.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check current entry rules, opening information and return transport.
  • Choose an outing suited to steps, slopes and weather.
  • Respect worship spaces and photography rules; check food ingredients at the shop.
