Hi, I’m Tabi!

Zushi offers a beach and small coastal hills in Kanagawa. Begin with a station-to-beach walk; distinguish a park visit from Hiroyama’s currently closed hiking course.

This guide covers places within Zushi, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Three places to begin

Three places with different atmospheres. Start with the one that appeals to you instead of visiting them all.

Zushi Beach

逗子海岸

A sandy shore facing Sagami Bay, photographed in 2009. Bathing facilities are seasonal; distinguish a beach walk from swimming and check wind, waves and local guidance.

Hiroyama Park

披露山公園

A hilltop park with a viewing area, shown in 2016. A September 2026 notice closes the entire hiking course while keeping the park available. Check permitted road access instead of using the closed trail.

Check an approach that avoids the closed hiking course

03

A first-visit stop

Roka Memorial Park

蘆花記念公園

A wooded hill associated with writer Tokutomi Roka. Expect slopes and steps rather than a flat beachfront walk, choosing an area suited to weather and mobility.

Getting there
Check the park entrance in Sakurayama

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Official guidance introduces seafood around Kotsubo. Catches and menus vary by season, and ingredients are not necessarily all from Zushi; ask about the day’s dishes and provenance.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try Zushi station → Zushi Beach, choosing a walk suited to wind and waves. Do not connect it to Hiroyama through the closed hiking course.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check current entry rules, opening information and return transport.
  • Choose an outing suited to steps, slopes and weather.
  • Respect worship spaces and photography rules; check food ingredients at the shop.
