Hi, I’m Tabi!

Hiratsuka combines Shonan’s coast with a central shrine and art museum. Start north of the station, saving the hilltop views at Shonan Daira for a separate trip.

This guide covers places within Hiratsuka, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Three places to begin

Three places with different atmospheres. Start with the one that appeals to you instead of visiting them all.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Miyako manju is a small Hiratsuka sweet made by Tsuruya Seika, with white bean paste in an egg-and-wheat batter. Distinguish it from similarly named products elsewhere; check ingredients and availability.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the north side of Hiratsuka station → Hiratsuka Hachimangu. Check museum opening separately and use a separate bus outing for Shonan Daira.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check current entry rules, opening information and return transport.
  • Choose an outing suited to steps, slopes and weather.
  • Respect worship spaces and photography rules; check food ingredients at the shop.
