Hi, I’m Tabi!
Hishikari merged with Okuchi on November 1, 2008, to form present-day Isa. This guide retains former Hishikari’s scope, introducing the Yunoo hot-spring street and riverside rather than all of Isa.
This guide covers places within Former Hishikari, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Yunoo Hot-Spring Street
湯之尾温泉街
This hot-spring area lies around the Sendai River. The photograph shows the street in January 2026 and does not establish any particular inn’s current operation. Check overnight stays, day bathing and meals directly with each facility.
Getting there Check the current approach and return transport on the map.
View the surrounding river from its parks. Spring carp streamers are a seasonal event, not an October display. Stay out of the river and avoid approaching during high water.

Isa rice is a regional agricultural specialty, and the city’s brand-certification guide includes producers based in Hishikari. Check origin and sellers without treating it as exclusive to the former town.
