Hi, I’m Tabi!

Explore Tokushige Shrine in Ijuin and the Eguchi coast in Higashiichiki as separate Hioki stops. Do not assume they form one short walk; check onward routes and return transport.

This guide covers places within Hioki, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

Tokushige Shrine

徳重神社

This shrine stands in Tokushige, Ijuin. The photograph shows its building in May 2018. It is associated with the Myoenji-mairi pilgrimage, but check separate official notices for event dates and current arrangements, and visit respectfully.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02

A first-visit stop

Eguchihama Seaside Park

江口浜海浜公園

This park overlooks the Higashiichiki coast. Nearby Eguchi Horaikan also introduces local seafood and boxed meals. Check waves and local restrictions, and verify shore access separately from food-shop opening hours.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Look for Yunomoto senbei from the Yunomoto hot-spring area. Official tourism guidance describes crisp sweets scented with Japanese pepper leaves. Check producers and shops for current stock.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
