Hi, I’m Tabi!
In Yusui, view the clear spring waters of Maruike and Takenaka ponds from the surrounding paths. They are in separate districts, so check driving routes or current bus connections before visiting both.
This guide covers places within Yusui, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Maruike Spring Pond
丸池湧水
This spring-fed pond in the Kurino district also supplies local household water. The photograph dates from April 2011. Keep out of the water, avoid contamination and view it from designated paths.
Getting there Check the current approach and return transport on the map.
Explore the scenery around this spring-fed pond. The photograph is from November 2012 and does not indicate that the seasonal swimming pool is currently open. Do not plan an October visit around swimming; check each facility’s current arrangements.
Getting there Check the current approach and return transport on the map.
Look for locally grown Yusui rice and rice-based products, checking origin and stock with sellers. Clear-looking pond water should not be treated as drinking water unless local signs explicitly permit it.
