Hi, I’m Tabi!

Minamiosumi is a town at the southern end of Kagoshima’s Osumi Peninsula. Nejime’s waterfall and Sata’s cape are separate journeys. Plan transport and the return trip. The official sightseeing-bus page is marked suspended, so do not rely on its old timetable.

Take the Nejime trail to the viewing deck facing the falls. This 2023 photo is from its upper floor. The upstream viewpoint in Kinko has a different entrance. Check night and weather restrictions; swimming in the basin is prohibited.

Look over the sea and lighthouse from the southern cape of the Osumi Peninsula. The photo dates to 2020. Check slopes and local restrictions on the nature trail. The route does not walk out to the offshore lighthouse.
