Hi, I’m Tabi!
Visit Doryuji and Kaiganji, two separate temples in Tadotsu. Plan transport between the grounds and check which areas are open for respectful visits.
This guide covers places within Tadotsu, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Doryuji Temple
道隆寺
Doryuji is temple 77 on the Shikoku pilgrimage. The photo shows its main hall in 2017. Stories of the “eye-healing Yakushi” describe religious belief, rather than a medical treatment claim.
Getting there Check the current approach and return transport on the map.
Kaiganji has a seaside main precinct and an inner precinct across the road. The photo shows the main hall in the main precinct in 2010. Accounts linking the site to Kukai’s birth are traditions; distinguish the two precincts when planning your visit.
Getting there Check the current approach and return transport on the map.
Tadotsu’s tourism association describes nabehoru udon as udon added to finish an offal hotpot. Recipes and serving styles vary; check current availability with the restaurant.
Resized, metadata removed and converted to WebP; display crops vary by screen. Adapted CC BY-SA photos retain the original license.
Photos are historical material dated in the credits, not a guarantee of present scenery or operation. Places without photos use decorative name panels.
