Hi, I’m Tabi!

Pair Shidoji Temple with a coastal roadside station in Tsuda. This guide covers Sanuki City, whose boundary differs from the historic Sanuki province encompassing today’s Kagawa.

This guide covers places within Sanuki, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Two places to begin

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

Shidoji Temple main hall, 200701

A first-visit stop

Shidoji Temple

志度寺

Shidoji is temple 86 on the Shikoku pilgrimage. Explore its grounds respectfully. The main hall photograph dates from 2007 and does not imply current special access or interior admission.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

A first-visit stop

Tsudano Matsubara Roadside Station

道の駅 津田の松原

This roadside station occupies part of Kinrin Park beside the sandy coast and black pines. The 2012 image shows its shop building, not the beach or an expressway service area. Follow current coastal access notices.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Official tourism information lists an udon shop at the Tsudano Matsubara roadside station. Check current opening and menu details, including meat udon, before visiting.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
