Hi, I’m Tabi!

Anamizu is a town on the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa. Check local guidance near Anamizu Station on Noto Railway before choosing a coastal stop. Exclude places officially closed to entry, including Shiosai no Michi and the Noto Great Buddha.

This guide covers places within Anamizu, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Boramachi Yagura

ボラ待ちやぐら

Wooden towers recall an old technique of waiting for shoals of mullet. The 2011 photo does not imply active fishing or a climbing activity. Check public viewing areas and recovery restrictions in Negi and Hira; do not climb the towers.

Shikisaisai near the station offers produce, seafood and souvenirs. The photograph shows Anamizu Station’s exterior in 2016, rather than the shop interior. Check the notice of Wednesday closures in October and November and current arrangements.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Official Maimon festival information features winter oysters. Past festival dates do not imply a current event. Check season, preparation, allergies and current openings. No particular shop, menu or price is guaranteed.
