Hi, I’m Tabi!

Between Osaka and Kobe, Nishinomiya offers a shrine, riverside walks and baseball culture. Start with the shrine or Shukugawa, saving Koshien for a scheduled visit.

This guide covers places within Nishinomiya, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Three places to begin

Three places with different atmospheres. Start with the one that appeals to you instead of visiting them all.

A first-visit stop

Hanshin Koshien Stadium

阪神甲子園球場

A stadium known for professional and high-school baseball. Match visits require schedule and ticket checks; it is not an open-access park. Check facilities on non-match days separately.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

The official souvenir guide lists local sweets such as kintsuba and monaka. Kintsuba wraps bean paste in a thin coating; monaka uses crisp wafer shells. Check ingredients and availability at individual shops.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try Hanshin Nishinomiya station → Nishinomiya Shrine. Plan Shukugawa Park or Koshien separately after checking stations and transport.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Distinguish similarly named JR, Hanshin and Hankyu stations.
  • Check shrine events and seasonal park scenery.
  • Check official stadium entry and facility information.
