Tōryūnada Rapids
闘竜灘
View rocks and flowing water along the Kako River. The panorama dates from 2005; water and facilities may differ today. Follow waterside signs and stay out of the current.
Getting there Check access from Taki station on the JR Kakogawa Line
Pause beside ponds and park paths. The photo shows the pond and rest facility in 2004. Lotus and water lilies are seasonal; the city reports that the 2026 flowering season has ended.
Getting there Check access from the Nanbo bus stop
A temple on Mount Mitake, the 25th stop of the Saigoku Kannon pilgrimage. It is distinct from Kyoto’s Kiyomizu-dera. Check mountain transport and current entry arrangements.
Getting there Check temple-bound buses from JR Aino station
The official specialty guide features Yamada Nishiki brewing rice and Dennosuke udon blended with its rice flour. Check ingredients, availability and local-origin labels for processed products.
Try Taki station → marked paths around Tōryūnada. Follow safe viewing areas and check river conditions. Plan separate transport for Hiraike Park and the mountain temple.
