Hi, I’m Tabi!

Mikasa is a city in Hokkaido’s Sorachi region. Choose the roadside station’s local-food introduction or Horonai railway heritage. Plan separate transport and check the museum’s seasonal closure first.

This guide covers places within Mikasa, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

City geopark guidance introduces Mikasa melon as a brand produced within the city. Check actual origin, variety, ripeness, sales season and stock; no shop recommendation, local origin for every melon, sweetness or price is guaranteed.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
