This clear pond lies in woodland. The historical photograph does not show current colour or water levels. Large and medium-sized vehicles are prohibited on the access forest road, which may also close temporarily for fallen-tree clearance.

This viewpoint overlooks Kiyosato’s rural landscape. The approach road is not cleared of snow and closes in winter. Check road conditions and current access before setting out.

Kiyosato potato shochu uses potatoes grown in the town. Check the brewery’s product information and current availability; drivers should leave tasting to non-drivers.
