Hi, I’m Tabi!
Yakumo in southern Hokkaido has Pacific and Sea of Japan coasts. Begin here with the Funka Bay park and urban museum. Do not combine Kumaishi on the other coast into the same short walk; plan transport separately.
This guide covers places within Yakumo, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Funka Bay Panorama Park
噴火湾パノラマパーク
A hillside park overlooking Funka Bay. The 2014 photograph shows Panorama-kan’s exterior. Check seasonal operations and current arrangements separately for the park and indoor play and rest areas.
Getting there Locate Panorama-kan at Hamamatsu368-8 on official maps and check current park entrances and road or public-transport connections.
A museum for town history and local culture, pictured outside in 2010. The photo does not show current exhibits. Check official guidance for related wood-carved-bear collections and visitor arrangements.
Getting there Locate the museum at Suehirocho154 and check current urban walking and transport connections, separately from the coastal park.
Town guidance introduces scallops and other seafood, alongside dairy products such as cheese. Check origin, ingredients, milk and shellfish allergens and availability; local origin of every ingredient, a shop or price is not guaranteed.
Resized, metadata removed and converted to WebP; display crops vary by screen. Adapted CC BY-SA photos retain the original license.
Photos are historical material dated in the credits, not a guarantee of present scenery or operation. Places without photos use decorative name panels.
