Hi, I’m Tabi!
Tōbetsu offers Date family history and chocolate attractions in Hokkaido. The museum area and ROYCE’ Town are separate outings; choose a district around seasonal access and return trains.
This guide covers places within Tōbetsu, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Tobetsu Date Memorial Museum and Annex
当別伊達記念館・伊達邸別館
Explore Date family and settlement-era materials. The annex hosted visiting guests; the photo shows its exterior in 2016. Check seasonal opening and winter closure.
Getting there Check the museum and annex locations in Motomachi
Learn about cacao and chocolate through exhibits and activities. Check admission reservations and activity conditions first. The photo shows the approach station in 2022, rather than the factory.
Getting there Check access from ROYCE’ Town station on JR’s Gakuentoshi Line
The tourism association features the local ROYCE’ factory shop, chocolates and baked sweets. A local production link does not mean all ingredients are grown in Tōbetsu. Check ingredients, allergens and availability.
Try the Date museum and annex area → Tobetsu Shrine, checking opening and public paths. Plan ROYCE’ Town separately with reservations and return transport.
