Hi, I’m Tabi!

Sunagawa in Hokkaido’s Sorachi region offers water, greenery and confectionery culture. Plan separate transport for Oasis Park and Kodomo no Kuni, beginning with one stop and current connections.

This guide covers places within Sunagawa, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

A first-visit stop

Sunagawa Oasis Park

砂川オアシスパーク

A park for paths around a flood-retention pond and open skies, photographed in 2011. Check water, winter activity and walking arrangements separately; do not enter water or ice without authorization.

Getting there
Locate the park management-building area at Nishi5-jo Minami8-chome and check current urban transport, walking access and return services.

02

A first-visit stop

Hokkaido Kodomo no Kuni

北海道子どもの国

A prefectural park with woodland and play spaces. Check seasonal opening and separate entry and play-area arrangements. It is a separate destination from Oasis Park.

Getting there
Locate the park at Hokko401 and plan transport separately from Oasis Park, checking entrances and current play-area arrangements.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

City Sweet Road guidance introduces local confectionery culture. Check actual ingredients, allergens such as milk, egg and wheat, and availability; no particular shop, current menu or price is guaranteed.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
