Hi, I’m Tabi!

Shimamaki is a coastal village on Hokkaido’s Sea of Japan side. Start with local information at the roadside station, then choose a coastal view. Check beach arrangements and transport between the stops separately.

This guide covers places within Shimamaki, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Roadside Station Yotteke Shimamaki

道の駅 よってけ!島牧

A rest facility between sea and mountains for local information, seafood and processed agricultural goods. The exterior photo dates to 2018. Check current shop and dining arrangements.

Getting there
Locate the facility at Senbashi 11-1 on Route 229 and check current road or bus connections and return travel in official guidance.

A first-visit stop

Enoshima Coast

江ノ島海岸

A Sea of Japan coast introduced by the village, shown as a pebble beach in 2007. Distinguish it from Kanagawa’s Enoshima and observe scenery from permitted areas according to weather, waves and local restrictions.

Getting there
Locate Enoshima Coast in Hokkaido’s Shimamaki on the map, checking restrictions, safe access and the separate journey from the roadside station.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Village guidance introduces local seafood and processed agricultural products. Check actual origin, ingredients, preparation, allergens and availability locally; no particular shop, current menu or price is guaranteed.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
