Hi, I’m Tabi!
This Fuchu is the town in Hiroshima’s Aki district, with gorge walks and shrine history near Hiroshima city. Distinguish it from Fuchu City in the same prefecture and Fuchu in Tokyo; plan transport between the park and shrine separately.
This guide covers places within Fuchu Town, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

A first-visit stop
Mikumari Gorge Forest Park
水分峡森林公園
Explore gorge and forest paths. The 2012 photo shows the park approach, rather than the entire gorge. Check paths, temporary closures and access rules; swimming, fishing and collecting plants or animals are prohibited.
Getting there Check buses from Hiroshima Station towards Fuchu-Yamada and Mikumari-kyo Iriguchi, then the walking approach and return services.
A historical shrine known locally as Enomiya-san. The 2019 photo shows the worship hall and approach, rather than the treasure store’s interior. Respect worship, photography and protected-building arrangements.
Getting there Locate the shrine entrance in Miyanocho on the official map, separately from the park journey.
Town guidance introduces traditional Aki-Fuchu shiro soba. Check actual ingredients, allergens including buckwheat and availability. It differs from Fuchu City’s Fuchu-yaki; no particular shop or current price is guaranteed.
Resized, metadata removed and converted to WebP; display crops vary by screen. Adapted CC BY-SA photos retain the original license.
Photos are historical material dated in the credits, not a guarantee of present scenery or operation. Places without photos use decorative name panels.
