Hi, I’m Tabi!
Fujioka offers wisteria parks and winter cherry blossoms in Gunma. Plan Fujinosakuoka and hillside Sakurayama as separate outings; historical flower photographs do not show today’s bloom.
This guide covers places within Fujioka, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Fujinosakuoka and Fuji Fureaikan
ふじの咲く丘・ふじふれあい館
A wisteria-themed park and exhibition building. The photo shows Fuji Fureaikan’s exterior in December 2014, rather than flowers in bloom. Check flowering and building opening arrangements separately.
Getting there Use JR Hachiko Line’s Gunma-Fujioka Station as a starting point when checking current onward transport to the park and exhibition building.
A hillside park with winter cherry blossoms, seasonal trees and a Japanese garden. The photograph dates to November 2009. Check current flowering, slopes and parking conditions, leaving protected plants untouched.
Getting there Locate the park entrance in Sanbagawa and check parking and road conditions, separately from the urban park.
The tourism association introduces Fuyuzakura manju, named for Sakurayama’s winter cherries. Check bean filling, dough, decoration and allergens with vendors; this does not recommend a shop or guarantee current stock or prices.
