Hi, I’m Tabi!
Naganohara offers the Agatsuma River, Yamba history and highland scenery in Gunma. Begin with the museum or roadside station in the Hayashi district. Plan mountain visits or dam interiors separately.
This guide covers places within Naganohara, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Yamba Tenmei Mudflow Museum
やんば天明泥流ミュージアム
A museum presenting Asama’s 1783 eruption, mudflow impacts and village life at the time. The photo shows the exterior in 2022. Check exhibitions and audiovisual experiences; this is not a report of current volcanic conditions.
Getting there Check road transport from JR Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station to the Hayashi district, using the museum’s official access guide and return arrangements.
A roadside rest facility for regional produce, food and tourist information. Check dining, shop and foot-bath arrangements separately. Nearby bridges and the dam are separate facilities, with no assumption of unrestricted entry.
Getting there Locate the facility in Hayashi; follow current walking guidance between the museum and roadside station, separately from dam interiors.
The official tourism guide introduces dam curry bread as a food example at Yamba Furusato-kan. Check actual ingredients, allergens and availability with vendors. No shop recommendation or menu or price on every date is guaranteed.
