Hi, I’m Tabi!
This Meiwa is the town in Gunma’s Ora district. Explore everyday town life through its cultural hall and Furusato Park and learn about local pears. Distinguish it from places of the same name in other prefectures.
This guide covers places within Meiwa, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Meiwa Furusato Industrial and Cultural Hall
日本キャンパックホール(ふるさと産業文化館)
A building for community cultural events and facility use, now officially nicknamed Nippon Campac Hall. The 2003 exterior photo may show earlier signage. Check events, interior visits and reservations separately; ongoing exhibitions are not guaranteed.
Getting there Check current transport between Tobu Kawamata Station in Gunma and the cultural hall in Minami-Oshima.
A town park with walking, recreation and play areas. The photograph shows water and paths in 2003, rather than playground equipment renewed in 2022. Check sport-facility reservations, rules and children’s play arrangements.
Getting there Use Kawamata Station as a reference when checking the park map and entrances to facilities.
The town identifies pears as a local specialty. Check harvest season, availability and ingredients when choosing fresh fruit or processed products. Fresh pears in every season and the quality of any specific shop are not guaranteed.
Resized, metadata removed and converted to WebP; display crops vary by screen. Adapted CC BY-SA photos retain the original license.
