Hi, I’m Tabi!
Toyoake in Aichi offers traces of the Battle of Okehazama and neighborhood parks. Start in the traditional battlefield area and plan transport separately for the castle ruins.
This guide covers places within Toyoake, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Okehazama Battlefield Traditional Site
桶狭間古戦場伝説地
A historic site associated with the Battle of Okehazama, pictured in June 2014. Distinguish it from the similarly named battlefield site in Nagoya and check the Toyoake Sakaecho address.
Getting there Check the current approach and return transport on the map.
A park with a former main enclosure, earthworks and moat remains, rather than an intact castle building. The March 2018 cherry-blossom photo does not guarantee flowers during your visit.

The tourism association features local vegetables at the JA direct-sales morning market. Check market dates and availability and ask producers about ingredients and preparation; do not expect a daily market or every crop to be available.
Explore open paths and interpretation boards at the traditional battlefield site. Check the approach from Meitetsu Chukyo-keibajo-mae Station and your return; the castle ruins can be a separate outing.
Resized, metadata removed and converted to WebP; display crops vary by screen. Adapted CC BY-SA photos retain the original license.
