Hi, I’m Tabi!

Okazaki combines castle history, temples and miso culture. Begin at the castle park and treat Daijuji as a separate outing rather than one long walk.

This guide covers places within Okazaki, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Three places to begin

Three places with different atmospheres. Start with the one that appeals to you instead of visiting them all.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try Higashi-Okazaki station → Okazaki Castle Park. Choose just the park or castle, adding a miso tour or Daijuji separately after checking bookings and transport.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check current entry rules, opening information and return transport.
  • Choose an outing suited to steps, slopes and weather.
  • Respect worship spaces and photography rules; check food ingredients at the shop.
