Hi, I’m Tabi!

Begin in Obu, Aichi, with a garden or hillside park. Explore Okura and Momoyama near the station, saving Health Forest Park for another outing if preferred.

This guide covers places within Obu, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Three places to begin

Three places with different atmospheres. Start with the one that appeals to you instead of visiting them all.

A first-visit stop

Okura Park

大倉公園

A Japanese-style park on former villa grounds. The photo shows the thatched gate in 2018, before subsequent rethatching, so its appearance may differ today.

Getting there
Check the route toward Momoyamacho from JR Obu station

02

A first-visit stop

Momoyama Park

桃山公園

A hilltop park with a windmill-shaped observation structure and seasonal scenery. Cherry blossoms are a spring feature and visibility depends on weather.

Getting there
Check the park entrance in Momoyamacho

03

A first-visit stop

Aichi Health Forest Park

あいち健康の森公園

A park with greenery and activity spaces. Plan separate transport from the parks in Momoyama.

Getting there
Check buses toward the park from Obu station’s west exit

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

The official guide lists OBU BEER, made with juice from locally grown Kyoho grapes. Adult visitors choosing alcoholic products should check labels and availability; not all grape products use Obu fruit.
